The Rocky Hill baseball commissioners were approached by the City of Knoxville greenways committee regarding plans to extend the current greenway masterplan up to Rocky Hill Elementary, with possible connections thru the baseball park south to other existing neighborhoods. Building on the success of the studio’s involvement in designing various support buildings on the site, Studio Four Design was asked to help create a long-term vision for the park. Commissioners took the opportunity to look at a long range plan that would enhance the greenway and improve overall vehicular and pedestrian circulation, while also reorganizing existing ball fields and amentities to attract regional tournaments.
