
Studio Four Design was approached by a group of investors to participate in an invited competition to generate best-use site options for a 90+ acre parcel of land they purchased which had been partially developed, but suffered from financial setbacks. The Northshore Town Center study included a proposed completion of the existing residential neighborhood, a senior housing option, space for a new public elementary school, big box and village retail.
Our proposal presented an overall concept with three retail schemes, designed with a mix-and-match approach that allowed for flexibility as parcels were developed. All concepts focused on unifying the site with pedestrian-friendly linkages, while allowing for convenient vehicular access to retailers.
